It was Chuseok from 23th to 25th of September. Chuseok is one of the biggest Korean holiday and people celebrate the harvest almost the whole week. As a celebration of the good harvest, Koreans visit their hometowns and share a feast of Korean traditional food. I think it is similar as Thanksgiving Day in America.
올해 추석은 9월 23~25일이었습니다. 추석은 한국에서 가장 큰 명절 중 하나로 거의 한주 전체를 추석으로 보낸다고 해도 될 것 같습니다. 한국인들은 추석에 고향에 가거나 가족들을 만나 한국의 전통 음식들을 함께 만들고 나누어 먹으며 그 해의 풍성한 추수에 감사하는 날을 보냅니다. 미국의 추수 감사절과 비슷하다고 볼 수 있겠네요.
