Japchae is commonly prepared for special occasions in Korea, and it is one of my favorite Korean foods as well. Koreans cook glass noodles in various ways, and I think Japchae is the most famous food made using glass noodles. The sauce is based on soy sauce and you can enjoy this food with steamed rice.
